The challenge
ConnextLab wanted to solidify its reputation as a leading Dutch innovation center. The question: how do you visually express "out-of-the-box" thinking in a way that resonates with both clients and sprint participants?
What we did
We designed a three-wall mural to become the centerpiece of their workspace, visually narrating the design sprint journey from ideation to execution. Bold, thought-provoking illustrations, designed in Illustrator, then projected, traced, and hand-painted with acrylics, turned the room into a constant reminder to be bold, think differently, and stay agile.
How we worked
True to ConnextLab's process, we facilitated a mini design sprint with their team to identify the messages the mural needed to communicate. After aligning on themes, we created rough sketches, iterated with stakeholders, then took it off the screen, projecting, tracing, and hand-painting the final artwork for a personal, handcrafted feel.
What we learned
- Collaboration breeds creativity, running a mini sprint shaped a concept that was meaningful, not just beautiful.
